Etude House "Play Color Eyes - Beach Party"

Etude House "Play Color Eyes - Beach Party"

by Rosalie

Hi Lovelies,
I was struggeling for a long time if I should buy this product or not, but finally I bought it: the Etude House "Play Color Eyes -Beach Party" eyeshadow palette. The colors, OMG!!! Really, so amazing! That was the main reason for me why I wanted to try this palette out. (I guess you can call me crazy or something! haha but sorry we all have some things we cant resist to get.)

Ok, when the korean brand Etude House release a new eyeshadow palette I always have an eye on that. But all the time I say to myself "No! Don't buy it, you already have so much eyeshadow!" haha, anyway... While they released some natural looking colors or more colorfull ones, but this palette has some natural colors but the most exiting parts are the blue, green and purple colors. *__* The colors are originally for summer time but I think that the colors also look good in winter, also because of the cold tone.

BRAND: ETUDE HOUSE

PRICE: $27

VOLUME: 10 COLORS

TYPE OF PRODUCT: EYE SHADOW PALETTE

I ordered this product at the Etude House Global Store, but as soon as the palette arrived at my house they removed it from there onlineshop, so I am not really able to tell you where you can buy this product, sorry.

The palette itself comes in a matte optic in turqoise and pink. In the palette you can find a mirror wich is as big as the top of the palette, and there are two brushes with different sides as well. (I always love when the product I use comes with the brush for it, so I am always right in using it for the application.) Also they name the colors in such a sweet way it's amazing! <3

In the palette there are 10 different colors, in matte, glitter and shimmer optic. The natural colors are really nice tough but the most catching thing are the colorfull colors (as I mentioned in the beginning.).

in the following you can see the swatches. Please enjoy them! <3

eye without anything

"High Tide" - really nice base color

"Sunset Beach" - really glittery

"Like A Mermaid" - this color is so amazingly pigmented. But it's a special color and I guess I still need to find a nice way to use this color on my eyes for a decent look.

"Starfish On Rock" - this is my favourite color in this palette because it looks like a mystical but sweet color. I use it as I use light pink colours. *__* It is also really beautyfull as blusher!

"Surfing Point" - nice for shadowing on "Starfish On Rock"

"Cave Shade" - a sweet brown but glittery color, I finaly have a  eyeshadow palette with a nice color for my eyebrows, too.

"Wet & Wild" - nonglittery warm brown color.

"Sand Castle" - I thought this color might be a bit darker but it is really nice to use on aegyosal!!

"Cocktail Shot" - this is nearly a black tone, a really darnk brown though. I also love to use it decent on my eyebrows.

"Cool Dive" - You may not see the blue sparkles in this color. It is really beautyfull but also really pigmented.

The colors are all really pigmented, but I thought that "Starfish On Rock" (The light purple) would be much more intensive as it is. But It's not so bad that this color looks more like a burgundy, because this turned out to be my favourite color! <3

So all I can say about this palette is, that it came with some special and extraordinary colors. This is really amazing for me and they look amazing. They are really nice in combination and I have created some nice eyelooks with a colortouch but it was also looking sweet and charming. I guess the best solution in eyecolours is to use them as a highlight element, one color only. I wouldn't combine the green and the purple, I think this would be to much but a nice look with the green or purple only is really amazing in my opinion. *__*

I hope this review was helpfull for you. If you still have questions please feel free to ask me.

ETUDE HOUSE "Pink Skull Colour Eyes" PK 001 Lovely Skull

ETUDE HOUSE "Pink Skull Colour Eyes" PK 001 Lovely Skull

by Violetta

Hey lovely Ladies and Gentleman!
As I promissed before, I´ll show you here the new "Pink Skull Colour Eyes" palette I got in my PINK BIRD BOX AUGUST. But on top of that, I´ll also show you 4 different eye looks you can create with this palette, so you can also see how the colours work in combination with each other. ^^

In the picture above you can see both variants you can get. I got the one on the left side. As you see, mine is entirely much more warm toned and lighter than the other palette. The secound one is darker with more cool toned shades. Some of the single shades are a bit alike, but not completely similar.

Both match the autum season really well, although I think you can use it in every season of course. I really like the funky and rocky topic and the fancy pink shades that are included in both of the palettes.

Some of the colours are really alike to the ETUDE HOUSE "BERRY DELICIOUS Fantastic Colour Eyes", so check out our review about them and click. ^^

With 9 shades, this is a really nice size of a palette to create various looks and to take it with you on a travel. The only thing I´m missing is a mirror and a applicator.

You can get this palette regularly in the ETUDE HOUSE global online store for $ 22,80.

Having in mind that there is no mirror and no applicator, I personally think this one is not cheap, even if you get 9 shades.

As you can see in the swatches, the light colours are difficult visable, but that just comes from the fact that it is almost my skintone (LOVELY PINK, SEE THROUGH BEIGE). I really like these colours as base eye shadow.depending on which shade you want, more yellow or more pinky, you can choose between these two to get a decent light base or even use only this colour for your whole eye look.
TWINKLE PINK is really glittery, so it´s nice for the aegyo cell, or just if you want to place glitter on a certain area around your eyes. That´s why I always use matte colours (without glitter), so that I controll where the glitter goes and where not. I don´t like having my eye glittery all over (just my personally opinion).

3 of the colours are glittery / shimmery (TWINKLE PINK, ROMANTIC BROWN, VELVET BROWN) and the other 6 are matt (LOVELY PINK, SEE THROUGH BEIGE, ANTIQUE BROWN, SUGAR SKULL PINK, ROSE PINK-BROWN, LEATHER BROWN), which I really like.
The SUGAR PINK SKULL is a really nice intense pink,, just the right colour if you are looking for an eye catching colour.

The pigmentation is not thedeepest one, but I think it´s a good pigmentation for beginners, to not apply to much colour. It´s really easy to work with them. ^^
You can also use some of the more oink colours as your blusher if you like. It looked really good on me when I tryed, but you have to pay attention to not use to much colour, which happened to me when I tryed it.

ALL IN ALL I have to say that I really like the colours and the beginner-friendly pigmentation, but for this price, I´m missing a mirror and an applicator. :/ So I would say you should buy this on sale, or else I have to say ETUDE HOUSE has cheeper and also nice coloured palettes WITH mirror and applicator.

But if you are a collector and you absolutelly want this palette, I can really recommend the colours. ^^

So now, let´s start my little eye look tutorial. I hope you like the looks I created for you. I also made it really easy to follow my steps for beginners who just want to start with eye shadow, so please tell me how you think about this way I´m showing you the steps. ^^

1. LOVELY PINK LOOK

If you want to pop your eyes up with a bit of colour, you´ll definitelly like this look. :3

For the eye liner I decited to draw a really thin line near the lashes with a dark brown colour. I also used a brown mascara to make this look really natural and lovely.

Now I look like a little lovely fairy. ^^ I just love to apply pink shades lately. I think that really suites dark eyes and dark hair.

2. LIGHT EVERYDAY LOOK

If you like decent looks that make your eyes bigger without to dark colours, this look is the right one for you.

This will make your eye look much bigger. But if you don´t want your eyes to have glitter on, just leafe this step out. ^^

The ROMANTIC BROWN will make your look more intense, but still decent.

Last steps: Do your brows as I showed in the first look above. I also decited to use a brown eye liner to draw a thin line near my lashes.

I really like this look for day´s you want to look like a princess, but you don´t know which colours are matching your clothes or style of the day. This matches to every outfit in your locker.

3. QUEEN OF LATENESS - LOOK

I think you know these mornings when you realize, that you only have 5 minutes for your whole skincare and make up. XD I know them very well. That´s why I want to show you this really fast and cute eye look.

Since we are late on time, use LEATHER BROWN for your brows and make just any easy eye line as you can. Also use mascara if you have enough time, but if not, it´s ok, because the eye shadow itselfe gives your eyes a great definition and depth.

This look isn´t representing perfection, it´s just for those make up junkes of you that can´t leave the house without eye shadow.

With this 2-step-look you are really fast and don´t have to worry about the time (so much ^^). I love simple eye shadow looks that work as good as a complycated one. ^^

4. SMOKEY NIGHTLIVE LOOK

This look is for those of you, who want to define their eyes alot. I created it to define, but not to look to dark, because that doesn´t match every girl and in addition to that I think girls that are a bit younger should not wear to heavy and dark eye make up, but that´s what everyone of us has to decite in their own.
The only important thing is to feel good and confortable with the look wearing, that´s all. ^^

So without further do, let´s start the last tutorial. :3

This step is for a little colour pop in the look.

You can also apply a wing with this colour on the outher corner of your eye to get an even more girlish look.
Also put a bit of the colour directly under your eye near your lashes to make this look even more intense.

I did this as the last step, because this way you don´t need to pay attention during applying the darker colours to not put any colour there, and you also have a darker look in total. The light colour defines the eye without ruin the dark and intense look.

If you want this look to be darker, just apply a bit more of the colours. Because the dark ones are really high pigmented, I blended them a lot, to don´t look to dark. But as I applyed the colours, I personally also like this look as a daytime look.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So These were the looks I created for you. Please let me know how you think about the way I showed you how to apply the eye shadows. I did it in a bit different way in my make up tutorial of the first ETUDE HOUSE Pink Bird July look. So please let me know in the comments. ^^

ETUDE HOUSE Pink Bird August Box, "Pink Skull", "DUMBO Moistfull Collagen", "Play 101 Stick"

ETUDE HOUSE Pink Bird August Box

by Violetta

Hello Loveliez!
I´m so excited to tell you that the secound Pink Bird Box from ETUDE HOUSE has arrived. :D There is so much cool and new stuff in there, I can´t believe it.
This post is just a little haul-like one where you can find short descriptions about each product and where you also can find the links to our full reviews. Have fun! ^^

Thanks again to ETUDE HOUSE to choose us for this project. ^^

What is included???

(click for our full reviews)

Here is the video about the products with little swatches. ^^

So first, let´s start with the "Play 101 Stick Contour Duo" #2

(please click on the title for the full review)

If you read all our posts so far, you may know that neighter my sister nor me ever talked about contouring. That´s because we are not so big fans of this technique. I´m personally only contouring around my eyebrows and sometimes around my lips a bit, but we both haven´t used that technique so often yet.
When ETUDE HOUSE came up with the Play 101 STICKS and we both saw the contour stick, we both said, that if we had enough money, we would definitelly want to try out the contour stick, just because it looked so cool that you have the two colours you need for contouring included in one small pencil. But we couldn´t buy it. :,(

Now that we got the NEW COLOUR of the contour stick, we are both sooooo happy about it, because it works so great, also for contouring beginners like us. ^^

There is a little instruction on their internet side that we followed and it went out really great.

The texture is really creamy and easy to blend, eighter with fingers, sponge or a brush. This way you don´t get to look to contoured and unnatural. ^^

As I said ETUDE HOUSE only offered one colour in the beginning, where the pigmentaton was a bit more cool toned I would say (just judging from the pictures on the web). I think #1 is also a really great colour mix, but #2 is supposed to be greater in summer with it´s more warm toned colours.
But if you ask me, I would say that they both work for all seasons really great, no matter which one you have.
I don´t know how the colours work on darker skin, but they´re pretty perfect for my skintone.

If you look close enough you see pretty good how the colours work. Not to obvious and still doing their job pretty good, heh?

Here is the link where you can find it on the ETUDE HOUSE global online store: "Play 101 Stick contour Duo"

The next one was quite a little surprise for us when we opened the package, because we haven´t seen any advertisement about this till then. They published the first picture of this collection two days after our package arrived.  :D  This was such an awesome moment.

I´m talking about the "Moistfull Collagen Cream Jumbo"

ETUDE HOUSE decited to redesign their famous "Moistfull Collagen" collection whith featuring DISNEY´s Dumbo. <3
They created a bigger pot of the "Moistfull Collagen CREAM" as well, so that you can get a bigger container of the cream. The normal size includes 75 ml, while the bigger size includes 110 ml.

These packages looks so adorable. And I really like the Dumbo~Jumbo combination. Just a great idea.
I did some reserches and I tink this repackaged pot doesn´t has a new mixture or something like that. It´s obviously just the same cream in a bigger container. ^^

My sister wrote a review about the ETUDE HOUSE "Moistfull Collagen Cream", so please click on the link and check it out, if you are interested.
Click here to get to the ETUDE HOUSE global online store, if you want more infos or if you want to know where to buy it: "Moistfull Collagene Cream Jumbo"
^^
I also got the ETUDE HOUSE "Moistfull Collagen FACIAL MASK SHEET" in the package, please click on the link for my review about it. <3

Since this collection is so adorable, I already ordered a "Moistfull Collagene FACIAL STICK". I have already checked it out and I love it so much and since they have it in the new design now, I just had to get it (my sis and mon too). :D

So last but not least, a really cool and trendy fall collection ETUDE HOUSE came up with ...

The ETUDE HOUSE  2016 Fall Collection PINK SKULL

This collection includes blusher (2 shades), maskara (2 shades of curl fix, 1 shade of long lash), twin shot lips tint (2 shades), eye shadow (2 palettes with each 9 shades), nail polish (5 shades), nail sticker (2 different styles) and perfume.
So nothing is missing in this collection, heh? (beside a cushion maybe ;-) )

ETUDE HOUSE offers the products seperatelly an as different sets (so you can save a bit on money if you want more than one product of this collection).

I think it´s really cool that ETUDE HOUSE created a bit more funky but still girlish image. The colours of this collection are all really great and I think also skulls fits this season really good, not only falling leafs. ;-)

We got two products of this collection, the "Pink Skull COLOUR EYES" in PK001 and the "Pink Skull TWIN SHOT LIPS TINT" in shade RD304.

The palette is really great. My sister said she wanted to buy it anyways. ^^ The colours are so nice and match each other really well. The palette we´ve got is a bit more warm toned than the other one ETUDE HOUSE offers. (click here for the link)

At first I thought the "Pink Skull TWIN SHOT LIPS TINT" (please click for my review) is going to be similar to the original Twin Shot Lipstins´s, but it´s not. While you press a button on the original products container to get the secound colour out, the PINK SKULL ones are like 2 seperated colours in seperated bottles in one stick. There is nothing to pump. :-(

I think that´s because the supposed use of these is a bit different. Here it´s not supposed to get blended lips colour, but to darken up the first colour with the dark secound one. Look on the pictures below to see (and understand) what I´m trying to say. (click to get to the official global page of ETUDE HOUSE)

Both colours can be worn seperatelly or in combination. (Swatches of my lips in the full review)

The mousse tint one is matt and really not drying out your lips. I´m so happy with it. My only problem is that the colour I got is so dark, that I think I can´t wear it on daytime (or atleast not to often ;-) ), so it´s really sad that the other shades they offer are also so dark. I mean the colours are really beautifull and with the matt one on my lips, I also can drink and eat without losing any colour of my lips, but it´s just to  dark for daytime. :-(

The dark colour (pearl tint) is also really cool, because you can also use it in combination with other lip products and every colour you like. That makes this colour really flexible.  Unlike I thought in the beginning, this colour also looks good on it´s own. If the red and both in combination are to dark, you can at least wear this colour, but it is really glossy, so it goes of really fast if you drink or eat. It also turns the red one in combination into a glossy colour that doesn´t stay long under several circumstances. ;-)

But all in all, I really appreciate this new collection. I also ordered the blusher of this collection to try it out, because it´s a cream blusher like my "Berry Delicious Cream Blusher" is, and I love this so much, I thought about ordering a secound colour all the time. Now I will get one soon. ^^

So that´s all that was in my package. Quite much this time. Please also read the full reviews about all products to get even more informations about the products.

Thank you for reading. :-)
