Etude House "Play Color Eyes - Beach Party"

Etude House "Play Color Eyes - Beach Party"

by Rosalie

Hi Lovelies,
I was struggeling for a long time if I should buy this product or not, but finally I bought it: the Etude House "Play Color Eyes -Beach Party" eyeshadow palette. The colors, OMG!!! Really, so amazing! That was the main reason for me why I wanted to try this palette out. (I guess you can call me crazy or something! haha but sorry we all have some things we cant resist to get.)

Ok, when the korean brand Etude House release a new eyeshadow palette I always have an eye on that. But all the time I say to myself "No! Don't buy it, you already have so much eyeshadow!" haha, anyway... While they released some natural looking colors or more colorfull ones, but this palette has some natural colors but the most exiting parts are the blue, green and purple colors. *__* The colors are originally for summer time but I think that the colors also look good in winter, also because of the cold tone.

BRAND: ETUDE HOUSE

PRICE: $27

VOLUME: 10 COLORS

TYPE OF PRODUCT: EYE SHADOW PALETTE

I ordered this product at the Etude House Global Store, but as soon as the palette arrived at my house they removed it from there onlineshop, so I am not really able to tell you where you can buy this product, sorry.

The palette itself comes in a matte optic in turqoise and pink. In the palette you can find a mirror wich is as big as the top of the palette, and there are two brushes with different sides as well. (I always love when the product I use comes with the brush for it, so I am always right in using it for the application.) Also they name the colors in such a sweet way it's amazing! <3

In the palette there are 10 different colors, in matte, glitter and shimmer optic. The natural colors are really nice tough but the most catching thing are the colorfull colors (as I mentioned in the beginning.).

in the following you can see the swatches. Please enjoy them! <3

eye without anything

"High Tide" - really nice base color

"Sunset Beach" - really glittery

"Like A Mermaid" - this color is so amazingly pigmented. But it's a special color and I guess I still need to find a nice way to use this color on my eyes for a decent look.

"Starfish On Rock" - this is my favourite color in this palette because it looks like a mystical but sweet color. I use it as I use light pink colours. *__* It is also really beautyfull as blusher!

"Surfing Point" - nice for shadowing on "Starfish On Rock"

"Cave Shade" - a sweet brown but glittery color, I finaly have a  eyeshadow palette with a nice color for my eyebrows, too.

"Wet & Wild" - nonglittery warm brown color.

"Sand Castle" - I thought this color might be a bit darker but it is really nice to use on aegyosal!!

"Cocktail Shot" - this is nearly a black tone, a really darnk brown though. I also love to use it decent on my eyebrows.

"Cool Dive" - You may not see the blue sparkles in this color. It is really beautyfull but also really pigmented.

The colors are all really pigmented, but I thought that "Starfish On Rock" (The light purple) would be much more intensive as it is. But It's not so bad that this color looks more like a burgundy, because this turned out to be my favourite color! <3

So all I can say about this palette is, that it came with some special and extraordinary colors. This is really amazing for me and they look amazing. They are really nice in combination and I have created some nice eyelooks with a colortouch but it was also looking sweet and charming. I guess the best solution in eyecolours is to use them as a highlight element, one color only. I wouldn't combine the green and the purple, I think this would be to much but a nice look with the green or purple only is really amazing in my opinion. *__*

I hope this review was helpfull for you. If you still have questions please feel free to ask me.

Etude House "Drawing Eye Brow" #2

Etude House "Drawing Eye Brow" #2

by Rosalie

Hi Lovelies,
ahen I scroll down my instagram page I see all these amazingly perfect pictures of makeup and beautifull korean models. I am kind of jeallous, I WANNA LOOK LIKE THIS, TOO!!! :D

But I can do what I want my face isn't the most perfect. The worst part of my face is one of my eyebrows, where I have a scar right in the middle. I dont want to overlayer this part but a nice eyebrowpencil would be nice, wich can overline this scar and I am constantly searching for one. To write about this is kind of hard for me, but maybe you also have problem zones in your face and I want you to not feel alone! ;)

I choosed the colour #02

But this is only a sidestory, in general I wanted to write about a eyebrowpencil in this blpogpost. About my first eyebrowpencil from my favourite korean brand, Etude House. *__*

BRAND: ETUDE HOUSE

PRICE: $3,60

TYPE OF PRODUCT: EYEBROW PENCIL

You can get this product in 7 different colours wich is kind of amazing! There are really dark colours, but also yellowish colours for people wich want to have blond eyebrows. I have chosen a ash brown like colour. I don't like to have super dark eyebrows but filling in my brows a bit makes me look much more fresh. So this colour was kind of a good oportunity for me.

triangular shape of the pencil

because of the shape the pencil can draw thin and thick lines

two different sides, the pencil and the brush

The product came with the pencil itself and a brush, to soften the lines in the eyebrow. I always like product types wich has the full equipment on itself to apply it and use it in the best way. So in this situation I mean you can apply the product itself and also brush it off.

The pencil itself is really thin, wich makes is easy for me to apply it. In a stressfull morning there is nothing more nerve wrecking for me to sharpen all my pencil. But I can only twirl and there is more thin pencil product, yeii! <3

The product is nicely pigmented but not to soft in drawing. (I think a eyebrowpencil must be a bit harder than a normal eyeliner.) So if you only want to colour your brows a bit it is really easy.

But I also have to say that this product is not waterproof. On my brows the product stayes the whole day, but I only wanted to take your attention to this point! ;) But because of this it is easy to remove with normal make up remover.

In the following you can see the pencil lines on my hand and on my brows:

thin and thick lines

blended lines

left: without any product, right: with the eyebrowpencil and blended

All in all I really like this product. As you may can see in the swatches the pencil doesn't draw on my scar skin, but thats just as every eyebrowpencil workes on this park. It took on the color a bit but not like the other skin take the colour on. :( (But I guess there aren't so many people who have the same problem as I have though, so this might not be a big deal for you!) <3

Do you also have problems with scar skin and the coverage of makeup on it? Please let me know, also if you have some hacks how to work in this skin, feel free to share! ;) (But it is also ok if you just wanna share your problem zones with me and we can be unhappy about them together! haha)

I hope this review was helpfull for you. If you have some questions please feel free to ask! ;)

Etude House "Pink Showroom Customizing Palette"

Etude House "Pink Showroom Customizing Palette"

by Rosalie

Hi Lovelies,
I love to collect things. Not all things, but all the things I like, why not collecting them?
Yep, that really can be a problem! :D
I also collect eyeshadows, these small containers. As I tried to reorganize my make up desk I realized that I started to build high towers with all these small eyeshadow containers. I searched for something to put all of them in, a palette or something, but all palettes that Etude House had were to small or to big for the number of eyeshadows I had.
And out of nowhere Etude House came out with a new palette, where you can put in your play 101 eyeshadows AND the dear my enamel eyes talk things plus a blusher. Amazing! ok, I don't have a blusher for this size but well, I thought it will be so nice to have all of these things organized in one, to be able to use them together and don't always bring ton's of these small containers.

So I decided to buy this "Pink Show Room Customizing Palette". *__*

BRAND: ETUDE HOUSE

PRIZE: $ 14.40

The palette came with a mixing palette, a double side brush and small magnets (that I couldn't find anymore haha, sry! But I don't needed them anyway!)

Here you can see the already filled palette.
The colourfull layer is in holographic optic, I guess because it's the trend these days. I would have prefered an other option, like a uni colored one, but anyways, this makes the palette really interesting.

I haven't used the brush so far because I am afraid to make it dirty (like I am with all brushes and make up things in the beginning! :D ) and I really don't know how I would ever use the mixing palette, but maybe time comes by and I need it! We will see...

In generall, all my eyeshadows are together in this palette, I am so happy! <3

This is the mixing palette...

...and this is the brush.

Now I will show you how you can put out the eyeshadow of the original small container, to put it into the palette.

I have one enamel eyes talk left, so let me show you with this how it will work...

You need your container of course and a thin needle or a pin. After putting it out, the left overs will look like this.

Can you see the hole? You have to stick in the needle to push out the eyeshadow.

Just push and it will come out easily.

This eyeshadow is supposed to sit in one of the upper howles. So you can combine your palette new how often you want. Seriously, I think it really was fun to see how well the colors match together.

It really makes it more easy to use the eyeshadows at once. I am so happy that I have bought this palette.

So if you are like me and have loooot's of these small container's I simply recommend you to buy a palette, too, because they are really handy.

Please let me know if you ahve problems with all these small container's, too.

I hope this review was fun and helpfull for you! ;)

I also would be really happy if you follow us on facebook and twitter to never leaf a new review out! <33

ETUDE HOUSE Happy New Year Collection 2017

ETUDE HOUSE Happy New Year Collection 2017

by Violetta

New Year New Luck!

Hey Loveliez,
I´m so happy to see you again in 2017. As you might now, 2017 is the chinese rooster year. To celebrate it, ETUDE HOUSE did a new year collection this year again. So this time they´re featuring ... well, I would call it more a chicken than a rooster, but you should know what I mean. :D

ETUDE HOUSE send us these products in cooperation with the Pink Bird membership.

For this, they redesigned and reinvented one of their most famous lip product, the "Color In Liquid Lips", and one of their most famous eye products, the "Look At My Eyes".

Here you can find some more informations about this NEW YEAR COLLECTION.

GIVE ME LUCK Color In Liquid Lips JUICY"

The design is so cute. I really like the color gradient, but I think it´s only printed on the bottle, because I can´t see anythink of the yellow inside. But anyways, it just looks super cute. ^^

First, let´s start with the lip product. Here we have a redesigned "Color In Liquid Lips" collection with 5 brand new shades. As you might know, beside the "normal" "Color in Liquid Lips", ETUDE HOUSE also came up with some redesigns and new colours for this collection like the "BERRY DELICIOUS Color In Liquid Lips". I´m personally really in love with all of them, but I really encourage you to check them out, too.

But to come back to these ones, here are some informations about the product:

BRAND: ETUDE HOUSE

PRICE: $ 12.40

VOLUME: 3,5 g

TYPE OF PRODUCT: liquid lipstick

here you can get it from the official global ETUDE HOUSE online store: http://www.etudehouse.com/index.php/color-in-liquid-lips-juicy-1701.html

In the picture above, you can see a swatch of the color #OR212. As the name of it says, it has a really fruity and grape like smell. I really like it. The pigmentation itselfe also remembers me of a grapey juice, because it is not so intense pigmented, more like a gloss, but not even a bit as sticky as one. It gives your lips a really natural color. And I really like the texture.

They should not only give your lips some color, but also moisturize them. I think they really do, but the moisturizing effect is not so much more comparred to the BERRY DELICIOUS ones.

The applicator looks really alike to the "BERRY DELICIOUS Color In Liquid Lips", but I personally preffered the "normal" one a bit more. Nevertheless, this applicator is also really great to apply the product, but to be honest, since this product isn´t the most pigmented one, it is really easy in general to apply it. ;-)

ALL IN ALL I really like all of the "Color In Liquid Lips" products in general, but I think the price from the online store is a bit high. These really remember me of the BERRY DELICIOUS ones, not only because of the applicator, but also because of the smell, the texture and the pigmenation. But I really like them. For me, it´s like they added some new colors to the BERRY DELICIOUS collection, but that should not be a big problem, since they´re so nice. So I can really encourage you to try them out if you can, because they´re so cute.

"GIVE ME LUCK Look At My Eyes"

Also, the design is really cute. But if you ask, I can´t tell why some of the containers are yellow and some are white. I just think that the color should simbolize the egg white and yellow, but why which color is yellow or white, I really don´t know. :)

Here are some informations:

BRAND: ETUDE HOUSE

PRICE: $ 5.20

VOLUME: 2 g

TYPE OF PRODUCT: eyeshadow

Here you can get them on the official ETUDE HOUSE global online store: http://www.etudehouse.com/index.php/look-at-my-eyes-1701.html

You can get these eyeshadows in 10 different shades. Some of them are more glittery/shimmery, some are mat, but the pigmentation is always really well.

ETUDE HOUSE send us 4 different colors, which match each other really well. But since all the colours from this collection are really warm toned and in brown/grey/plum/red/pink shades, they all match really well.

As you can see, the colors are really intense and highly pigmented. They´re really well blendable and all colours are so nice to combinate. But I also like to use them as single shadows, means only one color on my eyes.

If you are interested, click HERE to get to our review about the ETUDE HOUSE "Look At My Eyes" collections, to know more about this whole eyeshadow collection. ^^

So ALL IN ALL I really love these eyeshadows, each color the same and I can only recommend them. The price is ok, since the colors and the pigmentation is so great. So if you are interested, I really recommend them. :)

Thank you for reading. I hope you find this post interesting. Please leave a comment if you have any question about one of the products, or if you want to tell us your opinion. We always love to hear from you. :-)
