DIY Avocado Face Mask (with natural ingredients)

Hi Lovelies,
long time no see.  I am sorry that I havent showen up so much lately but I was really busy. Maybe also the long wintertime made me be a bit lazy, too haha... who knows! ;)

But now spring is starting and I am really excited about planting and having my own growen vegetables and stuff soon. With this enthusiasm and my leftover avocado I decided to do a diy avocado face mask, also as recipe just for you! <3

I love eating avocado for breakfast but sometimes there are leftovers that couldn't be eaten. So I decided I will use it as mask instead of only throwing it away. (I guess I am not the only person with this problem, let me know if you have this problem from time to time, too.)



So for the recipe, you need ingredients that you mostly have at home anyway.
You need:

-avocado leftover
-honey
-milk
-fork or spoon
-small bowl


So at first I putted the avocado into a small bowl and tried to mash it up so that there is kind of a creamy consistency. Next I added one tablespoon of honey and also one tablespoon of milk. The honey helps to let the mask stay on your face but also addes more moisture. The milk makes the mask more creamy. You need to be carefull with the amount. If you havent so much avocado then use less milk, because the mask can become to much liquid. Give everything a good mix and the mask is done.

Before you apply the mask you need to clean your face (as usual before you put on a mask) and your hands. After I applyed the mixture with my fingers onto my skin and massaged it into it. I have to say that the amount of mask was nearly to much for my face, so you see you don't need much avocado. After the mask is evenly applyed onto my face I left it on for 20 minutes. Just at the beginning I could feel the cooling effect of the mask. This is really great for hot springdays or summer.

Also the mask didn't dropped of from my face. After the 20 minutes the mask was kind of soaked into my skin. I massaged the leftover mask into my face and washed it of with lukewarm water. If you love the smell of avocado this is also amazing for you. All the time I made the mask and had it onto my face it smelled amazingly like fresh avocado. yummi! <3

I had no skintroubles after the mask and my skin feeled really clean and nice but not dry.
So I think this is a nice opportunity for not throwing away the leftover.

just in case you didn't know, Violetta and me we adopted a cat. SO in my last post I wrote that we were thinking about adopting one but now he is living with us for one week already. We adopted a cute old male cat, he is around 13 or 14 years old. He loves to cuddle and his fur is so amazingly long and fluffy. Just tell me if you want to see some pictures of him, I would love to share them with you! <33

Anyway, just today morning it started to snow again and last friday was the opening ceremony of the olympic games in South Korea in Pyeonchang. I have watched the ceremony and I loved it. But that again showed me that winter isnt gone and we will be having some cold days waiting for us. So Skincare is important but not only on faceskin, it is also really important to keep the whole body skin moisturized. To be honest most of the time I am way to lazy to really put on some bodylotion or oil but nethertheless I have some products I want to share with you that kind of help me with my dry skin.

I think Yves Rocher Products are always good to my skin, especially the ones for my skin. The best handcreams I have are from Yves Rocher and also the best bodylotions.
So I want to introduce you to a bodyoil from Yves Rocher I have used for a while now. In german it is called the "2 Phasen Pflegeöl mit Haferextrakt für sehr trockene Haut", but I cant find the exact english name. My translation would be :2 phrases moisturizing bodyoil for dry skin with oat extract.
I also searched online at the ves Rocher online shop but I couldn't find this product but I don't think that I have bought it long ago. Strange......

The design of the bottle is neat but nothing special I guess. Like it is handy because you simply spray on the product onto your body and rub the product onto your skin.

The product is a two phrase product wich means you have to shake it before you can use it.

The product contains oat extract and it also has a strong smell of it. It is not like I dont like it but I like some flowery or sweet scents much more. I have bought the product mainly because my legs are super dry and with shaving it is really bad. 

On thes super dry parts the product is really good. It is a body oil no a bodylotion so at least it should be a bit more moisturizing. And I guess thats why after like 5 to 10 minutes I still can feel this oily consistency onto my skin. It is ok because it feels like my skin is protected from loosing any moisture but with my legs always beeing dry it feels kind of uncompfortable for me. But I guess it is only because it is the absolute difference from my normal feeling. I also don't use the product every day. In winter it is nice to use it but it is also good in summer time, my legs need to be shaved every day to look good and without long trousers on my legs but with a short summer dress the legs feel good, too.

So regardless to the scent I think this body oil is really nice t my skin and easy to apply. Also it is easy to transport if you tarvel and need this extra moisture because of other water quality (My skin always struggle with different water qualities and gets dry or irritadet.).

I dont know about you, but I love to try out new skincare products. I love nice smelling and moisturizing ones with a nice product design. Just like the cream I am writing about today. 
The cream is from the korean brand "Hope Girl" named "Bee venom multi solution cream". I havent tried any product from this brand so I was kind of sceptical at first. Also I have oily skin so using products with honey extract in it can be troublesome.

anyway, let me give you some infomations abut the product at first:

The design of the packaging is really cute, it looks like I am taking the bottle out of a beehive and is full of honey. Haha I love it.

Opening the bottle is amazing, because the smell of the product is so awesome. It smells like honey but also has a lemony touch in it. The cream itself is light yellow, just like the colour of light honey. 

Sadly the product don't came with a spoon. Ok, I mostly loose the spoons but I know for many of you it's an important hygienic thing to use a spoon while you put out the cream from the bottle.

After applying the cream it takes a bit longer to soak into my skin compared to other creams. But it's all gone after a minute or two. So it's also ok. Also it really does a great job on my oily skin. Right now we have winter here in Germany, so my skin needs much moisture, and this honey cream does a nice job. But I guess in summer the cream would be a bit to heavy for my skin. But I have used it daily and have no break outs or anything. So as the description sais, you can use it on all skin types.

But I have to say that the crem is more on the expencive side. I mean the cream is worth it but if you havn't enough money I can understand you when you struggle if you buy it or not.

 All in all I can say I really like the cream, the texture and the smell. It is just perfect for my daily use and also is nice to use before my make up. So I can highly recommend you this cream, also to oily skin types.

Hi Lovelies,

winter is comming these days. Its really cold here in Germany. I need to search for my snowboots and my warm pullovers. Seriously I like this season much more than I like summer, but my skin is feeling really dry, so I need to put on some extra treatment. Of course I also need to put on some nice handcream and today I write about the most rich handcream that I have used so far.



It's from the brand Yves Rocher and in this hand treatment line they have some more products, but I decided to use this super special moisturizing one! ;)

Especially in winter my hands feel like dry paper and my skin gets red and hurts a lot.

I bought this cream at my local store, not online. But you aso can order it online if you dont have a store nearby.

I think the size is quite big for a hand cream. Like if I start to use this cream and realize I dont like it or the smell is not good..... I have handcreams with smaller volume. But this big size is also good if I llove the cream that I dont have to run to buy a new one after using it 3 times! :D 

So I guess it depends on the situation. For me it is ok since I like the cream, but I also like to try out other creams and I guess it will take a long time for me to empty out the bottle. :D

The design isn't something special so far. This product is designed to be practical! :D (and look kind of adulty I guess haha!)

To come to the product itself I think it is a really nice hand cream. I guess I have paied less than the original price since the store often give some reduced prices. I think 7 € is a high price for a handcream but I really think that it is a nice product. My sisters hands are really REALLY sensitive to creams and she also likes the product. The product also have a strong smell. I have no problem with this but I would say you should test it yourself if you could if you are sensitive to smells. My mum always sais that she don't like the smell, so again it is different for each person! :D

All in all I really must say that this product is a lifesaver for me since it helps my hands to get more moisturized. This cream helps for more than just a few minutes to have a good feeling on my skin. The moisture effect stayes on for a long time, even after washing my hands I still can feel the moisturizing! *__* Also the cream soakes in really fast into my skin so that my hands are not oily for a long time or anything.

Hi Lovelies,
the days are getting colder now. I love how the trees look right now, like everywhere these pretty colours! <3 But I also miss the flowers already. You can't get everything at once I guess. but in this season it get's more important again to moisturize your skin.

And that's why I wanted to introduce you to my current moisturizer. I just came to try some products from the korean brand "Elizavecca", wich was kind of unknown (for me) but has some nice products, tough. If you know some great products from this brand please let me know, I wanna try them! <333 :3

I bougth this product at jolse.com. 

The product came with a spoon (wich I currently lost somewhere haha sry. this always happen to me!....) to get the cream out of the bottle. The bottle itself is made out of glass, wich is really interesting and estetic as well. But also the material make the product kind of heavy, like if I want to take the product with me on a travel it might be troublesome. But I personally don't travel so much, so it''s no problem for me! :)

The cream itself is kind of hard, not so much liquidy. This makes it kind of difficoult for me to put the best amount of product out of the bottle. (With the spoon it might be easyer haha). The scent is really awesome. A bit like baby powder or cotton. But also really clear. I like it! 

Applying the cream can be troublesome because the cream isn't so liquidy. I have to se some strengh to get it all over my skin. It's not as it hurts to apply it, but it is a difference to other moisturizer that I have used so far. Also the cream left a really heavy moisture feeling on my skin. Now I only use it before I go to bed, so it's ok, but I think using it in the morning under my make up would be to heavy. Please remember I have oily skin, so that's maybe kind of a reason for this. If you have really dry skin this cream really can put some strong moisture to your face.

So to summerize I can say the moisturizer does a good job in sense of moisturizing (like it should do a good job haha its  a MOISTURIZER!!) but in applying I have some kind of problems. Not to bad problems but I think you should know this to learn more about this product! ;)
