K-Drama Recommendation: "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon"

Hi Lovelies,
today I want to write about a korean Drama I was watching recently.

I really wanted to watch a new drama, and after watching "HWARANG" I feld in love with the actor Park Hyung Sik, so I was searching for some dramas, where he is playing a main role. And I found This drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon". I have seen that this is the latest drama where he is in so I decided to watch it! harhar<3333

But I really have to say that this drama is one of my favourites out of all I have watched. I had seen that this is comedy and romance, so I was expecting a chilly story and a handsome actor. But really, the story was so like OMO please!!! This is to much for my pure kpop heart! :D Beside the usual love story there was so much happening. I was watching it at night and really got scared! Ok, I should say I really can't watch horror movies, but hwo is expecting this at a kdrama? :D SO DEEEEEEEP!

The 3 main actors are:

-Park Boyoung as DO BONG SOON (girl, who has super strong power, very naive, in love with her childhoodfriend)

-Park Hyungsik as AHN MINHYUK (own a game company, is super arrogant but got blackmails, don't trust the police)

-Ji Soo as IN GOOKDOO (Childhoodfriend of Bong Soon, doesn't know about her power, working as a policeman)

Looking at the OST there are some really awesome actors, like Park Hyungsik, Mamamoo, Vromance and Jeong Eunji. I really like the music, listening at it gives me much energy (as Bong soon has haha!!)

If you want to watch the drama, you should stop right here with reading, I don't wanna spoile you!! But if you are interested in the acors and a bit of the story I will go on! <3

Now I want to talk about the story:

Bong Soon taking care about the drunken boys.

Minhyuk, falling in love with his bodyguard Bong Soon.

Do Bong Soon is a woman in her 20's. She is a really cute and tiny girl, but she has strong super power. Like she can lift up everything and punsh gangster. This sounds great first, but the only thing Bong Soon wishes for is, to be normal and make In Gookdoo fall in love with her. They know each other from childhood, but now he has a girlfriend and Bong Soon is trying really hard to be sweet and girly.

But they also can have fun with each other! :D

Bong Soon's mom and grandmother also has this power, it is like only woman in the family has this power. Bong Soons Twin brother doesn't has this power. The mother always sais that Bong Soon is the strong but naive one and her brother is the intelligent one, because he is a doctor now and she doesn't have a job or anything as the story started. The mother has lost her power because she has used it ony for herself, to be bether than any other in sport competitions. So if you want to keep hat power you should always help the ones who need the help.

I love how pissed of Bong Soon is at the beginning of the story because of her arrogant boss. She was only taking the empolyment because he promised after getting the blackmailer she would have a normal job at the company.

As Bong Soon was fighting with some bad guys on the street Ahn Minhyuk, owner of a game company, saw the fight and the power of her. As he was receiving some blackmail calls and got pushed, he decided that Bong Soon should be his bodyguard. I guess you can expect how strange it looks to have this tiny girl protecting a tall handsome men. haha

Within the first half of the drama this blackmailer thing get solved but beside this there is the childhoodfriend Gookdoo, who is a police man. Around the living area of Bong Soon there is a kidnapper, who only kidnap young and thin woman. The first victim even was killed by the kidnapper. In the story there are always these scenes where you see the dark selfmade prison with the woman in it. He tried to get 8 woman and marry them, he really is crazy. He also observe the woman with cameras, has cameras at the police station and on public places, wich really makes it hard for the police to solve this problem. Of course Bong Soon interfere into this and tries to help the woman, because her best friend also got kidnapped.

Beside this scary story there is the love story between Bong Soon and Minhyuk, who knows that she is in love with the police man but regardless fall in love with Bong Soon. As the story goes on She is also more and more in love with her boss (!!!!) and forget about the love to her childhood friend Gookdoo. Gookdoo's girlfriend broke up with him because of Bong Soons brother, because o this he is taking more action into this triangular relationship and makes it more and more complicatedfor everyone, saying he was in love with Bong Soon since childhood, too. Hm, this is really some kdrama sh***... sry, but WHY? Why is Gookdoo making things so hard for Bong Soon to get a boyfriend she likes? Her mother isn't a help, too, since she wanted from the beginning of her employment that Bong Soon should marry Minhyuk.

Bong Soon and Minhyuk at a lovey dovey picnik. I really am happy for both to have a nice time together.

Really, all in all this is only a bit of the story can tell you know. It's so much, like every episode is full of actions. Plus I don't want to tell who Bong Soon will be together with in the end. I always shipped Bong Soon and Minhyuk, because with him, she can be how she really is and say what she really thinkgs, because he knows her secret power. Plus they are really cute fighting at the beginning and falling in love after this bad start haha! And I love the character of Hyungsik, he is super arrogant and rich and always makes fun about Bong Soon. 

But all actors are super handsome, and I am in love with Bong Soons hair style! <333333

The end of the story is a bit fast, full of new informations and things happening.

If you are searching for a nice kdrama full of emotions and with a nice story, you really should watch this drama, since this story is amazing!!!

a few weeks has passen away since my last post about the kdrama "hwarang - the beginning"

and I hope you are still fired af waiting for new episodes from this drama! <33333

I think waiting is the hardest. Especially for the people who can't understand korean (me) but still wanna watch the new episode on the first day. I found myself watching episodes and episodes without subs, my laptop (old maschine...) cracking by the beautyfull men and yeah... just the dramatic ending of each episode.

Anyway, I wanna talk with you about the latest things that happened in the story and really want to hear your opinion!!

Things are goint to be really interesting for everyone. The hwarang member got closer but still there isn't pure friendship between them. Ji Dwi kissed Ah Ro, so he really tried to get closer to her. But still I think she isn't that much interested in him... I mean she thinks that he simply is a pervert.

She is loving ("fake") Sun Woo, but is complicated about her feelings since she isn't allowed to love him cause they are siblings. But now she found out that he can't be her brother, they fought much but after Sun Woo having an accident by riding a horse she tells him her feelings and (surprise surprise...) he kissed her.

Beside this crazy triangle love story there is Soo Ho's sister. She is beginning to be in love with Ban Ryu, the enemy of her brother.

But Ban Ryu himself has problems within his family. His (adopt) father want him to sabotage hwarang and become the new king of silla, wich means he is the instrument for the people who are against the queen and the royal family. But at this point of the story I think Ban Ryu don't really wants to become the king and stuff...


Plus I think he really likes Soo Ho's sister but right now it's impossible for both to be together (because her family is pro royal family).


So now we become a bit closer to all that politic stuff the drama is about.

The king decided to be in hwarang (as we all may know) but he lost his bracelet to Sun Woo in a fight in episode 2. Sun Woo don't know the owner of the bracelet but he knows that the owner of the bracelet is who killed his friend, the real Sun Woo. So he decided to kill this person as a revenge. He is wearing the bracelet to always remind that.

But suddenly he lost the bracelt, the symbol of the king. (Somehow everyone knows that this is the kings symbol except of Sun Woo...) and was found by a boy who works for the "contra queen" people.


Before that happened, Ah Ro got kidnapped by the queen because she found out that Ji Dwi is the king and now she wants to kill Ah Ro.


But Ji Dwi was able to save her and now he is sharring this secret with the girl he is in love with.


After a few days there was this big poster in the hwarang house, saying that the king is in hwarang house.

So right now everyone is thinking how may be the king. Sun Woo found the symbol on this writing, wich is the same as on the bracelet. That's why he now knows that the killer of his friend must be the king.

Because Sun Woo came new into the capital and Ji Dwi came from the west, these both are the ony ones who may be the king, that's what everyone is thinking. But they came to the conclusion that Sun Woo must be the king and now everyone is thinking this.

After a while the teacher found out that Ji Dwi must be the king and told him, but I personally think that he wouldn't tell anyone about it cause he knows what this will mean for him. There are so many killers out there who wants to kill the king and if the king will be death the queen never get away from the throne, or the people who are against her are getting the throne.

More and more people find out who really is the king.

Ji Dwi told Son Woo that he is his very first friend in his life but still he can't say that he is the king!!!
His only frind wants to kill him so he can't tell him his biggest secret.
But Sun Woo now is thinking that Ji Dwi is the king! OMG!!!
And the 12th episode ended with Sun Woo holding the sword on Ji Dwis neck... I might die here as well! How can they end the episode like this???

And there is so much time between now and the next episode, I hope everything will go well.
(All fangirls out there, we have to be strong... TOGETHER!!!)

I personally think that they should stay as siblings and Ji Dwi should become her boyfriend (or however I can call it in that time...), because I think he is more carrying about her. And he is in love with her for such a long time and he don't even has a family. She can be his family, the only family that is possible for him.

And what do you think about the relationship between Ban ryu and the sister of Soo Ho?

Hi my Lovelies,
today I want to write about a K-Drama I am watching currently.
I have the feeling like I simply HAVE TO write about this since it makes me crazy that this is an "ongoing" drama and I am already done with watching all episodes that were released so far! :D

I normally watch older dramas just because there are all episodes already released and if I am in the mood to watch the whole weekend just this drama I am able to harhar! But this time it's different.

I heared that Taehyung (V of BTS) has played in a drama, his first job as an actor. So I decided that I want to watch the drama anyway, but after seeing that Minho (from SHINee) playes in this drama as well I cant help but start to watch this right away! :D

The drama playes around 1000 years ago in Korea. (I love how all the people are dressed in this drama! <333 well done!) 


To make it simple about the story: There are 3 kingdoms and the story is about is the weakest kingdom of them. The king suddenly died and the queen with the young king was left all alone. Now the queen got the role of the head of the kingdom and the young king was gone to nowhere. Now he is back after many years and want to beat his mother. The queen doesn't want him to be the king right away and decided that he need's some kind of army or knights (to beat him up? or to let him stay save?`We don't know at this point...), they want to build the "hwarang"!

On the other side there is this young man Moo Myung (we don't really know much about his past) he comes with his friend to the city to search for the friends family. Due an accident his friend saw the kings face and a knight killed him because of this. Moo Myung found his friends father right after his friend died. They decided to tell everybody that Moo Myung is the lost son, but he want's to get revenge for his dead friend. So it happened what have to happened, he got caught by trying to get the revenge and now he needs to do whatever the queen tell him to keep the family of his friend save. So he ended up to be a hwarang.

The king doesn't let his mother do whatever she want's so he also managed to be a hwarang. And with that the story really can begin, because there is also this one sided lovestory from the king to the sister of the friend of Moo Myung... and all that K-Drama stuff! :D

(hm... I think it's really hard to descripe the story in short and easy words, sorry for that! :D)

The story really is good, right after watching one episode (one hour long) I wanted to continue!! :D <33

The release date of the drama is from decembre 19. 2016 to feburary 21. 2017.
New episodes will be aired on monday and tuesday 22:00 kst at KBS2. (For english subbed episodes of course we have to wait longer... 😑 )

The catching thing here is that all actors really are beautifull. OMG!!! I really can't stand this! :D

But he is so nice and has a pretty interesting background story. He is soooo arrogant but somehow handsome with beeing like this! *__*

 I definitely want to continue watching this drama, I hope that the story will go on as well as it started! <3
Because on one side you have this stiff but somehow adorable K-Drama humor but on the other side I think the drama is really bloody, too! :D
I mean there is a boy, slapped easily and then his face is all bloody! o.O
(I don't want my king to be hurt! I DONT WANT THAAAAAT!!!)
Right after watching 6 episodes I am a bit sad that Taehyung has a smaller role but anyway he is adorable! FIGHTING TAEHYUNG!!! <33

If you are searching for a nice new drama to watch, this is definitely one I can recommend, but it is troublesome if you hate ongoing dramas and waiting for the next episode as I do! :D

And beside that, Jin and V (BTS) joined in the OST for this drama, really cool if you ask me because after "WINGS" I am in love with Jin's voice. (I loved V's voice anyway!<3)

somehow I am in the mood for it. It's Drama time again!
There isn't only one Korean Beauty Drama out there. So today I will write about a other drama that I've watched.

latest beauty drama review: "Sweet 20s"

Again it is sponsored by the korean beauty brand Innisfree, that's why you only find products from this brand in this drama. But again I love the concept of having a drama, a story And Make up hacks and looks.

(Sorry, but I can't stop laughting about her cute and natural face! Just like everyone of us looks like from time to time! :D)

about the story:
main character: Lee Bongju, a girl who has not really a idea of make up, but of skin care. She will go tho the K Beauty School, wich is really fampous and hard to get in. Her mother rent a face massage and skincare kind of bussines, that's why Bongju knows so much about skincare.

Bongju has a bad start at the school because of her natural non make up face in public. At a beauty school of course you have to wear make up. She needs her time to get this. There is a boy (Won Namgung) who tease her always, but is the class best. It's a difficoult relationship between both. But he also ha a  secret (as always in korean dramas...)

And there is a nice boy (Haein Jung) who helps Bongju and get good friends easily with her. (I think he is super amazingly handsome. Am I the only one noticing it??) :D


All in all the story is about wich problems the students have at this school, about friendship and love. All in all a nice cute story. Plus you also have some Make up looks. But it looks like if doing the eyebrows is the most important thing in EVERY single make up look and hack! :D

Comparred to the last beauty drama I have written about these beauty looks aren't as good. But the story is deeper with more characters. So it's a new thing. I think it is also nice that it is different than the last drama, because we don't want to see the same thing only with different actors!! :D And this time there is more fun in the story itself, like more comedy.


There are 10 episodes wich are around 20 minutes long. Wich means if you have a bit of time and want to watch a drama wich makes fast a good story without to much filler episodes, this is super nice for you.

I am in love with Haein Jung!!! What about you???
