Etude House "Play Nail" - Fall Collection (Part 3) #383 Aurora Apricot, #384 Black Forest

Etude House "Play Nail" - Fall Collection (Part III)

#383 Aurora Apricot, #384 Black Forest

by Rosalie

Hello Lovelys,
today is like a third part of the review about the "Play Nail" collection from Etude House, wich is REALLLLLY BIG!!!!!

Here you can find the links to the first and secound parts:

PLAY NAIL PART I, #21, #23, #26, #76

PLAY NAIL PART II, #112, #114

For nail polish lovers like me this range is like a dream come true. You can find like every color in it wich you are looking for. Some times Etude House make some special collections with the polishes, like they do with this fall collection.

I ordered two colours: #383 Aurora Apricot and #384 Black Forest.

BRAND: ETUDE HOUSE

PRODUCT NAME: PLAY NAIL

PRICE: $3.30

TYPE OF PRODUCT: NAIL POLISH

I ordered these products at the Etude House Global Store.
The colour has a little shiny element in it. #384 has a goldish shimmer and #383 has a orangie shimmer. I think it looks really pretty. The colors are so beautiful for fall season but they also match wioth other seasons or themes.

Applying the polish is very easy. beside this the color stays on my nails very long. Basically longer than the normal german nail polishes. Thats one point I love on this range. :3

Showing you some swatches was a bit difficoult, because I also wanted to show you the shimmery effect, but you cant see it in every light. (But I think you can see the gold shimmery very good on the picture.) yeiii <3

As I said before I really love this nail polish range. So I also recommend you the other colors from the range. But you have to compare how the color look on the website and how it looks like in real. I think for these two colors the color look alike. But especially in the PLAY NAIL PART 1 you can see some huge differences how the color really looks like.

But this nail polish is one of the best ones I used so far!!! :)

I hope this review was a bit helpfull for you. You can also follow us on facebook if you are interested in more reviews from us! ;)
Also if you have some questions about the product please feel free to ask! :3

Etude House "Dr. Ampoule Dual Mask Sheet"

Etude House "Dr. Ampoule Dual Mask Sheet"

by Violetta

I was really curious about this mask, because I already tryed the "I Need You Mask Sheet" from Etude House, which I love so much. This one is a bit more expensive and I wanted to know if this one is worthwile.

BRAND: ETUDE HOUSE

PRICE: $4.60

TYPE OF PRODUCT: FACE MASK

How Etude House describes the product on their global internet store:

"What it is

Step 1. First Dr. Ampoule: Synergy ampoule
- A synergy ampoule for mask to apply first before applying Dr. Ampoule Mask. It manages keratin of rough skin after cleansing, hydrates, provides nutrition into skin, and helps Dr. Ampouble Mask sheet's contents get absorbed better and faster.

Step 2. Dr. Ampouble Mask: Cellulose fiber mask sheet
- Low-stimulus, high density, high adhesion mask sheet made of Cellulose fiber
- Containing full of contents between fibers and essential ingredients absorbed into skin deeply.
- Highly flexible sheet to be applied on face compactly to deliver high-adhesion special care.

I actually bought these during an event on the official logbal page from Etude House, so it was a bit less expensive than it is now. And since there was that event, there weren´t as expensive as they´re on the global store. I payed about $2.00 for each.

I got the VITAL CARE one.

"Vital Care: Mugwort leave water, Ceramide, Yeast extract, Royal jelly extract, Argan oil, Phellinus linteus extract, Soybean fermentation extract, and Capillary wormwood extract contained to keep skin hydrated and vitalized."

The First thing I recognized about this is, that the shape of the mask sheet is a bit better formed for my face (It fits more exactly). Also the material itself looks a bit softer and more high quality than the "I Need You Masks".

All in all they´rre really similar to the "I Need You Masks", but these has one more step to do. At first I didn´t know how to use it, because it is barelly described in english, so I did a view recherches and find out how to use it.

HOW TO USE:

1.)  After cleaning and towel drying the face, put on the FIRST STEP, wich is a liquidy cream (looking like a moisture cream). In this case it is white / milky and smells really good(a bit flowery and fruity, in any case really clean for the skin).

2.) Just right after applying the cream all over your face, put on the actual mask sheet, which is included in the packaging of the SECOND STEP. (STEP 1 shoud helpto absorb the increadients on STEP 2)

My sister crashed the picture. HAHA!

3.) Leave it on for 15~20 minutes and remove the sheet. Rub in the excess product on your skin (during that, you can give yourself a little face massage) (with clean hands!) till it´s all absorbed. If you don´t like the feeling of the excess product on your face, because you should ot wash your face right after that, you can also remove it with a cotton pad or (but in my opinion it´s more effective if you don´t do that) wash it of with water careful.

4.) I personally use such sort of masks once a week (only twice a week if I really really need it). I often hear people who use it every day, but I am not a big friend of this, because if you give your face every day such a mask, it becomes natural for your face and then your face will come to a certain standart, where such masks can´t help anymore. And If you don´t use them on one day, your face will feel very bad. That´s why I only do this once a week, so that my face don´t gets even more problems than it has already now. :3

CONCLUSION

I think that this mask is visable helping my skin, but I don´t see a better result as from the "I Need You Masks". So I have to say that instead of these, I´m going to buy the "I Need You Masks" again. But If you want to try them, I can only recommend them, because they really do work and are made from / with more special inccredients and materials (as I mentioned before).

Thank you for reading my review! Please leave a comment, because I am curious about what you think of this product.

Etude House "Moistfull Aloe Real Soothing Gel 92"

ETUDE HOUSE "MOISTFULL ALOE REAL SOOTHING GEL 92"

by Violetta

Since it´s winter now, I wanted to write a review about one of my favourite moisturizer. This one is a really special one, because it is not only for the face, but for the whole body. In addition to that, it is cooling down your face, which is not only interesting in summer, but in winter as well. ;)

This product is one of the ALOE MOISTFULL-collection.

BRAND: ETUDE HOUSE

PRICE: now $7.70 (I purchaised it within an event for $5.00)

VOLUME: 300 ml

TYPE OF PRODUCT: SOOTHING GEL / MOISTURIZER

Description from Etude House:

This is an all-over moisture soothing gel that delivers quick moisture and soothing relief to exhausted and heated skin. (Application on both face and body recommended)
-Containing real pure aloe and baobab tree extract, This aloe gel delivers long-lasting rich moisture that provides moist, radiant and healthy skin.

I´m in love with this product. The consistence is really glibbery itself, but when you apply in tho the skin, you realize how watery it also is. It really feels like the real aloe plant and I am really happy about this lifelike feeling.
It is the perfect moisturizer in the morning, because it dryes really fast (if you don´t take to much of the product) and isn´t sticky at all)

I know that there are many similar products from other korean make up brands (like from Tonymoly, Innisfree ...) but I haven´t tryed them out yet.

I often use this product when my leggs are itching because of dryness. It is perfect, because when I don´t have much time to wait till it dryed, this one is really fast and helpsme with my dry skin. :)

here you can see the colour and the consistency. This amount is not big, but in the next picture you can see ...

that this was already to much. :D

Here is my pro and con list:

ADVANTAGES
  1.  cooling down effect for skin
  2. not sticky
  3. moisturizes really well
  4. dryes really fast
  5. you get a really big amount of it (good if you like it, but bad if you don´t do so)
  6. not only for face, but also for the whole body
  7. great smell (like aloe)
  8. you need just a small amount to cover a big area
  9. good price for a good service

DISADVANTAGES

  1. In winter I have the feeling that I need more than this product only for my skin care routine.

CONCLUSION

This is the perfect moisturizer in summer, and a really good one for winter. Since I personally have only one disadvantage, I am definitely going to repurchise this product.

Thank you for reading. If you like, please leafe a comment. I am really curious about which moisturizer are your favourites and if this review was helpfull for you. ;)

Etude House "Beauty Shot Face Blur"

Etude House "Beauty Shot Face Blur"

by Rosalie

Today is like a special post, because I will write about the famous Face Blur from Etude House and will ask myself if it is that good if the brand itself sais or isn't it a helpful product.

First of the brand take many advertisement clips for this product, below I show you one of my favs! ;)

Its just like Kristal (f(x)) helps every girl wich needs her help! haha! <33

Ok, now to the product.

BRAND: ETUDE HOUSE

PRICE: $18.00

VOLUME: 35g

TYPE OF PRODUCT: PRIMER

I ordered this product at the Etude House Global Store, but I get it within a set, so I payed not exactly $18.

Firstly, the packaging is cute and useful. You only pump one time and then you get enough product for one use. The first thing I noticed was the smell. It is very strong firstly when the product came out, but after applying it gets lighter. It smells like parfum but its like always hard to describe. If you ever have used a Etude House product then you know this typical kind of smell wich the products have. The smell of Face Blur is just a bit more parfum like. I can imagine that some people really can hate this smell for a faceproduct, but I personally like it (and I am really sensitive with smells). So I think this depends on you.

Th eproduct came out in one colour, so at first I was a bit nervous if the tone will fit to my skin. But the cream is really light and easy to blend so I think this can fit to many skin tones.
I tried to make some swatches for you to see the result in using this product:

I always have problems with the big pores around my nose area so I show you this area to may see the biggest difference between before and after. I think you can see that the pores look smaller so in that kind of way it workes.

The product is supposed to: smooth, hide pores, tone up your skin. It also have sun protection in it. (SPF 33 PA++)
For the first two things I think it worked. But I am not really sure it it toned up my skin, because the cream is REALLY light.

Also I cant say that this pore hiding and smoothng effect is really a big effect. Its hard to really see the difference. I personally dont see a difference in just using BB Cream or using Face Blur beforehand.

So what I really think is that this product isnt necessary for doing my make up. Only BB Cream work the same.

The baddest fact is that the product is kind of really oily or something. If you use it and apply BB Cream over it you shine like a star in the dark! :D haha My skin was sooooooo shining and like oily. I used much powder to get rid of this oily look but then I look like I was falling in a powder bowl! haha

So applying it at first is easy but get rid of the oilyness in a nice way is difficoult.
In the end I dont really like the product. My favourite primer (Etude House Baby Choux Base - Mint) is muuuuuuuch nicer!!!

I dont know how I will use this product now in a nice way, so if you have good ideas please I would be so happy to know them! :P

I hope this review was helpful for you. I would also be happy if you follow us on facebook, to never leave a new review from us.

Etude House "Save Cushion" Any Cushion Cases

Etude House "Save Cushion" Any Cushion Cases

by Rosalie

Hey Lovliez,
I really wanted to show you some swatches of the new limited edition of the "save cushion"´s. My mother, my sister and I purchised each one and I have to say that they´re all absolutely cute.

I really like the idea of buying make-up products (what I really love) and also help the nature at the same time. :D Each case stays for a different animal in need, which you could help by purchaising it. ;)
Etude house has some other products in stock that should help the nature and the animals (there are also some really cute advertisements on youtube :) )
If you want to know more about this topic, just read our review about the Etude House "MISSING YOU HANDCREAM".

The cases came in a seperately packaging, so you have to pay attention when you buy it, if there is also a refill in the price included. We bought ours at the Etude House global store and there they sell it with a refill, but I don´t know if it´s the same on other shops. I heared that you can buy it seperally, but I am not quite sure. At the global etude house store, one pack with refill and case costs $18.00 ($10.00 for the refill, $8.00 for the case itselfe).

Every Etude House cushion refill fits in this cases, so it doesn´t matter which one you want to put in. It has exactly the same size as the normal any cushion case. The surface is a bit rough  (not like the case of the moistfull any cushion case), but I really like that. In this way it gives a smooth feeling when you hold it. ;)

I made the experience, that  after a certain time, each cushion case needs to be replaced, because the lock isn´t firm enough (which was really extreme with mine, because it got opened in my bag by itself and now, because the pad is getting bigger and bigger, it does not fit in quite good) and so on. So even if you only want to buy refills, you have to get a new case once (from my experience, you will need a new one after the secound or the third refill, but that could depend on how you use it and if you get it with you in your bag ...).

So I think these cases are super duper cute and in casse that you need a new oe, or if you just want to have a new funny and cute cushion case, these ones are really really great and I am soooooo happy that I got mine now. ^^

Here is my review about the Etude House "ANY CUSHION MOIST". Please read it if you are interested. :D

Thank you for reading and if you like, please leafe a comment (I am always curious what other people think about these products)
I would also be happy if you follow us on facebook, to never miss a new review from us.

Etude House "Play 101 Pencil" + "Snowy Dessert Play 101 Pencil" part 2

Etude House "Play 101 Pencil" + "Snowy Dessert Play 101 Pencil" part 2

by Violetta

We promised to make a part 2 of the Etude House "Play 101 Pencils" and here it is! As if that´s not enough, we also have 2 pencils of the new limited edition from Etude House "Snowy Dessert Play 101 Pencil" for you! He He He

Here is the link for our part 1of the "Play 101 Pencil", if you haven´t seen it. ;-)

Since I have thw beige ones and two dark brown ones, I think a little comparission is very good for those of you who are thinking about which one could be the best colour for you and your use.

All 4 pencils have a consistence which is very equal and perfect for eye make-up. It is not to wet or to dry, just a good eye make-up consistence, but I would absolutelly not use it for my lits or cheaks, because therefore it must be more creamy. The snowy dessert pencils are shimmery ones, while the two "normal" ones are mat. They all stay very long, which is because they´re not to creamy or wet. They all stay incredibly long on the skin, whichb is very awesome. :D
Since my sister and me bought two of the Etude House special sets from the "Snowy Dessert" line on the Etude House global store, we have #73 and #75 of them. I saw that they changed the pencil colours and the pudding tint colours in this set, but I bought it with the colours I just said.
We´ll upload a review about the whole set soon. :-)

Then I have two colours of the normal Etude House "Play 101 Pencil", which are #07 and #50.

BRAND.: ETUDE HOUSE

PRICE: $7.80

TYPE OF PRODUCT: PENCIL TYPE EYELINER

First I want to talk about the normal "Play 101 Pencil":

#07 is a mat, very light beige colour. It thought that I can use it for my lower water line (because white is often to heavy and unnatural) and for my aegyo sal, but in addition to that, I find out that I also can use it for concealing pimples and dark areas (like dark circles). It works very good, because it has a consistence which is perfect for eye make-up, so it is not to wet and you can blend it very well. For me it actually matches my skintone very well, so this pen is one of my favourite ones when it comes to the multifunktional use of these pencils.

#50 is a mat, very dark brown colour. I use it as an eyeliner. I think this could be the darkest brown shade they have, anyway it was the darkest brown shade they had when I ordered it on the etude house global store. This is a very beautifull colour if you don´t want a heavy shade like black, which could really give your face a hard expression. Don´t misunderstand me, black is also a very nice shade for eye make-up, but if you want a softer/smother touch up, this brwn shad eis very good for you. This pencil is also good for eyebrows, but the colour is really intensive so be carefull if you have never used an eyebrow pencil before. ;-)

For my eyebrows I preffer the Etude House "Look at my Eyes Cafe" eye shadow #BR402 Cafe Mocha (I´ll upload a review about this eye shadow only soon, but here is our general review about  the "Look at my Eyes Cafe and Jewel"  )

Next are the "Snowy Dessert Play 101 Pencil":

#73 is a shimmery, very beige colour. It´s shimmery pigments are more colder shaded, so it´s more like white silvery shimmery, but still beige. (I don´t know if you can imagin the shade more now, but if you can see the product right in front of you, you´ll know what I mean. If you don´t understand me, just look at the pictures ;-) )
It is a bit lighter than the #07 of the "normal" pencils. This one works very good as eye shadow and for the aegyo sal, but you can use it also for your lower water line.

#75 is a shimmery, very dark brown colour. It is a little bit lighter as the #50 of the "normal" ones and it has golden/bronze shimmery pigments in it. Because of that the colour looks a bit warmer than #73. If you want a very modestly eye liner, which is not heavy and you only want to give your eyes just a little accent, this one is perfect for you. You can also use it for your brows. The shimmery pigments are so modestly, that you don´t see them when you use them for your brows and it is not that heavy as the #50 from the "normal" pencils.
You can also use #75 as eye shadow, but I think it´s better in use for other stuff.

MY CONCLUSION for those of you who are thinking about whiich colour they should choose I have a little tip. If you´re wearing glasses the whole day, then the mat ones are the better choose for you, because shimmery pigments behind the glass makes you eyes smaller (it´s the same with eye shadow). If you are not wearing glasses, then I would choose the shiny ones, because then they´re making your eyes bigger, because of the light reflection (that´s the opposite to wearing glasses).

Between the beige ones: If you want something to also cover up your dark circles, then choose #7, because then a not shimmery one is better for hyding. ;-) The aegyo sal lokks a bit better with #73, plus you can use it as eye shadow.

Between the dark brown ones: The shimmery #75 is not as intensive pigmented as the mat #50, so if you want a clearer eye line, then choose #50. If you want one which you could also use as eye brow pencil and eye shadow, then choose #75.

All pencils are really great to use and you can use them for manny different things. In the end I think you are really happy with the pencils, regardingless which one you choose (and I am speaking of the whole colour systeme of the pencils)

I hope you find this review usefull. Thank you for reading. if you like, please left a comment. If you made any sort of different experiences with that product, please let me know it in the comments.
